YSHIELD® U2S | EMF Bed Canopy Mat | Double Bed (280cm) | STEEL-TWIN

£220

EMF Protection double bed canopy mat from YSHIELD® providing high shielding attenuation for use with compatible EMF sleep canopies - 280cm wide

To achieve a full Faraday cage with a canopy, it is also necessary to shield from below. This canopy base has a high shielding attenuation.

With 42 dB attenuation optimal for all canopies made from VOILE, NATURELL and SILVER-TULLE.

Made from shielding fabric STEEL-TWIN. The stainless-steel-side should face towards the floor, the white cotton-side upwards. Directly laid under the canopy, the sewed edges would be too thick under a carpet.

Not included with the mat for grounding: 1 grounding plug GP1, 1 grounding connector GCV, 1 cable GL500.

Small metal plates are pre-assembled at one end of the panel – grounding will be screwed onto them.

We recommend covering the canopy base with a fabric or carpet. This cover will also hide the 4 mm high electrical connectors and cables behind the bed.

This product shields high frequency electromagnetic fields (HF). The indicated dB-values apply to 1 GHz, view chart for other frequencies. Laboratory report ranging from 40/600 MHz to 40 GHz according to standards ASTM D4935-10 or IEEE Std 299-2006, view report above.

This product with an electrically conductive surface shields low-frequency alternating electric fields (LF). For this purpose a grounding is necessary, i.e. an integration into the functional-equipotential bonding (FEB), please find suitable grounding accessories under "Grounding".

FAQ

How do I test that it’s working?

If you have an EMF Meter (with Radio Frequency detection), this is the perfect way to test the entire canopy.

The second-best way is simple – use it!

Just get in and sleep in it. Give it three days for the body to adjust and feel the difference.

Please do not try and test a canopy is working using a mobile phone. When you bring a mobile phone into an EMF shielded space the mobile phone becomes an EMF repeater which intensifies the EMF frequencies inside the canopy. This is due to your mobile working harder to boost the signal so it can connect to make calls / texts / access the internet.

Can I Wash The mat?

Gentle cycle up to 60°C with YSHIELD® TEXCARE detergents.

Iron without steam at degree 1, drying at low temperature, do not bleach or use any chemical dry-cleaning.

We suggest you keep washing to a minimum to retain optimal shielding capacity of the fabric.

Why do I need under-bed protection?

We believe if you want to be protected from low level EMFs such as the electric fields from the wiring in your home as well as high level radiofrequency, then we recommend you always have the appropriate grounding mat so that the canopy and mat are combined to provide more complete protection.

When grounding is in place, the mat provides not only protection from RF below, but equally importantly it protects from low frequency fields/EMFs that would otherwise collect and radiate which would negate the health benefits received from the RF reflection. It is therefore imperative that this product is earthed.

Which EMF canopy should I get?

Every EMF bed canopy curated by Conscious Spaces has specific qualities. You can review these on the EMF Canopy comparison page.

Why should I order an EMF canopy from Conscious Spaces rather than from elsewhere?

We have tested the leading canopies currently available and have selected the ones that are proven to use high shielding materials that are great quality, high functioning and most importantly are easy to use.

How do I set up the Canopy, EMF / RF Protective Bed Mat and Powerline PLC HF Filter Grounding Kit?

Always ensure the EMF / RF Protective Bed Mat is spread out on the floor beneath the bed and covers as wide an area as possible which in turn will provide a complete seal when it connects with the draped canopy.

The best way to earth the canopy and EMF / RF Protective Bed Mat is directly into the ground outside with the aid of a copper pipe, however, this is not typically possible so the next best way to ground is with the Powerline PLC HF Filter and appropriate grounding components.

Where should the EMF / RF Protective Bed Mat be placed?

The EMF / RF Protective Bed Mat should go on the floor underneath the bed. It is important to make sure the EMF Canopy touches the EMF / RF Protective Bed Mat all the way around.

Why is my canopy not working or making me feel worse?

1. The airflow is restricted: Open one quarter where EMF intrusion is weak.
2. Detox occurring: Give it time.
3. The canopy is not earthed properly: Check and secure earthing.
4. There are gaps between or the mat and canopy don’t touch: Check & secure.
5. There are some manufacturing residuals: Air on a washing line or gentle wash.
6. Metal springs in the mattress: Change the mattress.

Will my mobile phone work inside the canopy? Can I use my mobile phone to test the frequencies?

Your mobile phone will work in an EMF canopy however we strongly recommend you do not bring it into the canopy. This is because when you bring a mobile phone into an EMF shielded space the mobile phone becomes an EMF repeater which intensifies the EMF frequencies inside the canopy. This is due to your mobile working harder to boost the signal so it can connect to make calls / texts / access the internet.

For this same reason, it isn't accurate or appropriate to test for EMF frequencies inside the canopy using a mobile phone.
