The EMFIQUE Atelier
Every piece is hand sewn in the United States in small runs, to patterns drawn for this collection.
Seams are finished. Linings are cut to the garment. In the outerwear the silver mesh is layered through the collar and the facings, so the cloth stays continuous when the coat is worn closed with the collar raised.
Materials are selected for durability and longevity.
These are seasonless pieces, made to be worn for years.
The Silver Cloth
Silver is the most conductive of the metals. Spun into yarn and densely knit, it forms a conductive shield within the structure of the fabric itself.
EMFIQUE build their cloths on that principle and then finish them the way a fashion house finishes cloth.
An exclusive dual-sided ponte in black and gold, refined and high performance, made to their own specification. Sandwashed TENCEL, responsibly sourced from wood pulp and prized for its softness and breathability. One hundred per cent silk, lined in sheer silver mesh.
The silver is spun into the yarn rather than applied to the surface, so it remains part of the cloth through wear and correct care.
